Dear students,

As the cultural department of the AStA, it is our task to maintain and possibly expand the cultural offerings for you at our university. Last year, we therefore conducted a survey regarding a possible cinema flat rate, which would allow you to go to the Kinopolis or Kinocenter Giessen once a month free of charge. Now things are getting more concrete and we would like to hear your opinion.
There is also currently the possibility of adding an indoor pool flat rate for the winter to the existing outdoor pool flat rate for the Giessen pools in summer, so that you could use the indoor pools in Giessen free of charge during the winter months.
As the semester fee has risen quite sharply recently, soon to €335.10, we show the possible changes due to the flat rates in the tables below. The fee for the winter semester 2024/25 is taken as the starting point and only the changes in the cultural fee are shown.
