Dear students, this year’s university elections have finally begun. They will take place online or by applying for a postal vote (no longer possible) and will run from 10 to 27 June 2024, ending at 4 pm.

You will elect the student parliament (StuPa), which is formed by various university lists with different election programmes. From this, another body is formed, the General Students’ Committee (AStA) as its executive body.

Next up is the student council (FSR) of your student body. This represents your respective student council in the Student Council Conference (FSK).

Unlike the other committees, the Senate is also a university committee made up of professors, academic and technical staff and just three students. The Senate elects the JLU Presidential Board.

Finally, the Faculty Council (FBR) represents the interests of the entire respective faculties (FB 01-11) at our university.
